Finnegan, Richard J., 57, of Boynton Beach and formerly of Brooklyn, NY went to be with the Lord January 9, 2012. Mr. Finnegan was predeceased by his father William A. Finnegan, his mother Marie Kirvin Finnegan, and his older brother William E. Finnegan. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Joyce Johnson Finnegan; and his younger brother Donald Finnegan of Hanover, PA. He is also survived by his two daughters Veronica A. Finnegan, M.D. (Jeffrey A. Carden) of Salt Lake City, UT and Lori Finnegan Ingraham (Daniel J. Ingraham) of Lake Worth. Mr. Finnegan was a loyal employee of Beard Marine Air Conditioning since 1995. His hobbies included restoring his 1967 Camaro and photography. He had an outstanding ability with electronics and an unsurpassed love for the beauty of nature and his family. Family and friends may visit Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Ave., Delray Beach on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer service at 7:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 840 George Bush Boulevard, Delray Beach on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Richard J. Finnegan Memorial Fund through Bank of America.

To the family and close friends of Richie, I am so sorry for your loss. Richie was a good man and great friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. He was Beard Marine parts department electrical genius, and help us any time we needing help with something.

I send my sincerest condolences and prayers to you all.

To all of you, I say one more thing, keep your head up and heart stronge, and keep living with the happiness that Richie brought to you all.

Richie was my co-worker but more importantly he was my friend, he will be be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.
