Dick always made us smile. A treasured friend, the neighbor across the street, more so as family. We always started every morning with coffee and conversation. Tours with Dick in Leelanau County, Isabel, their Scottish cattle, unending story telling, his dog Murphy. His integrity, sincerity, giving, always present. We are thankful for knowing this truly good man.

I knew Dick as a golfer at Jackson High School and for years later and he was always good at whatever he did. I'm glad he had so many good years in Northport.
