My husband and I first met Dick when he was the campaign manager of the Franklin Utech for Congress committee in 1970. I became Dick´s treasurer when he successfully won a Wisconsin Assembly seat in 1972, from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and I remained his treasurer for all of the ten years he was in the Assembly.
