Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences go out to the Flores Family. I am very sad to hear about the loss of the greatest High School Football Coach. It was an honor for me to have been given a little skinny sophomore a chance to play varsity football for the Edinburg Bobcats, but it was even a bigger honor to get to know him. He touched everyone´s heart and got the best out of them and turning boys like me into men. We will all truly miss you especially the taping of that big ring on the players helmets...

Richard and family: A message from your friend, golf partner, baseball teammate and confidante, Coach Joe Rod. Joe and your fellow coaches (Coach Lerma, Coach Tom Chavez, and many others) were and still are a close knit. Ain't no doubt in my mind that you and Joe will hoist a few up above thinking about your friends and the fun that y'all had together. You will be missed and we, Baby Alice, Pee Wee, and I will be praying for you and your family.

To Estelle and the Flores family please accept our deepest condolences and prayers during this very difficult time. I will always remember Coach Richard as a great mentor, leader, teacher, coach and most of all as an awesome person. God Bless.. sincerely, Mr. & Mrs. Joe & Rachel Fuerte

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Richard had a very special place in my daddy's heart (Desiderio Flores).

My sincere condolences to the Flores family I will always cherish the moments when coach Flores shopped at Walgreens I enjoyed having conversation with him and let's not forget about how he enjoyed his snicker bars you will be missed by so many RIP coach

My prayers and condolences to Estelle, Rick, Cindy and the Flores family. The impact that Coach Flores had on people cannot be measured, but cherished and valued. His coaching tree produced coordinators, head coaches and athletic directors. His physical education tree produced teachers, department heads and coordinators. He coached his players to be the best, but he strived to make them good men in the game of life. Richard Flores was a great coach, but he was an even better person who...

My sincere condolences for Estelle and the Flores Family, I have many fond memories of Coach Flores who became Coach in 1975 and turned a 2-8 team to an 8-2 team my senior year. After graduation I would always go by and see him at the stadium and we would reminisce about certain games, not only was he my Coach but he became my mentor in so many ways and I always saw him as part of my family. Funny thing he never called me by my name when he would see me its was always #22. May you RIP Coach...

To Estelle and the Flores Family, we wish to extend our deepest condolences on the passing of Richard. He was a great coach and more importantly a great person. Ruben and Karla Elizarde
