Dr. Richard Rodney Fong M.D.

Gracina: We recently heard of Richard's death, and are so sorry. I remember when he fixed my small finger when I dislocated it playing baseball when I was a senior at Oakalnd High School. The nurse somewhow knew that we were related, and she put me on a bus to go see Richard (I think she called ahead). Richard did a great job "popping" my fnger back into place.

Dear Dr. Fong,
You have always inspired us with your wisdom and humor. I get a kick every time we run into you in Oakland Chinatown, you would recite a Chinese Classiclal poem in the middle of the street holding up traffic. We are amazed to see you at your age (90+), being so vital and independent. We will alway remember you as a great man that love his family and friends. We are going to miss you and when you see my father (Louie Mun Sen)and mother (Mow Onn) in heaven please let them...
