Hello all my dear friends. My grandparents called on Sunday and told us about your Dad. I was very sorry to hear. He will sure be missed. He always cheered me up whenever I was around him. I think my very first memory of him was when I was 5 or 6 years old and he asked me how much the pig I stole my pigtails from charged me for them. I was saddened to learn of Richard's passing and express my sincere sympathy in your loss. I have fond memories of our association when we served together in the Ely Nevada Stake. I know you will receive comfort and strength through the Holy Spirit at this time of trial. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I served with your husband and father in the Eastern Atlantic States Mission and remember him with great fondness. He was as committed and dedicated then as he appears to have been since. Please accept my love and sympathy and every good wish.

I was taken by total surprise when I saw Richard's obituary in the paper this morning. I missed seeing you both when I was in White Pine County recently. A person should take advantage of every opportunity when it arises. I thought a lot of Richard and will miss his smile that he seemed to always have. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
