Longtime Kent resident, Richard F. (Dick) Foote, died early Sunday morning.

Read MoreI had many a merry visit with Dick and Betty. Dick was always quick to update me on the news of his children and grandchildren. What joy they all gave him! How proud he was of each of their accomplishments. We spoke on many subjects from Kent History to gardening. Every year as we plant our garden I think of Dick and his generous gift of tomato stakes. My deepest sympathies to Betty and Family on such a great loss.
