Never will I forget the marvelous, warm, inclusive (and beautifully-decorated) environment that pervaded Lawry's Foods Center. I worked in Product Planning, Advertising and then on "Executive Row," reporting to Edgar Lewis, CFO and sometimes filled in for Tom Fuelling's executive secretary, Pat. I will always remember my 10 year employment and Richard's open door policy to assist me with hosting International guests as they toured the food center. I couldn't have managed the executives from Kagome Foods Japan without he and Ralphs assistance. Rest in peace.

His work in teaming with the Tournament of Roses is initiating the Beef Bowl for visiting Schools playing in the Rose Bowl was legendary and of prime importance to entertaining the visiting football players and their Coaches.
May he rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon him.
