Dr. Richard Herbert Franke

Dr. Franke was an incredibly intelligent man whom I and my fellow international students looked up to tremendously. 11 years after his passing, we're still talking about the classes he gave us, really an exceptional mind with the power to spark the brain of the 19 year old I was then and learn how to think in a manner that was completely unknown to me at the time, incredible. Wish he was given more time, much respect from The Netherlands.

Dr. Franke was a truly inspiring figure and professor. I am thankful for the opportunity to have known him and to have studied with him.

Our hearts go out to you at this time and in the days ahead.
