Condolences to all the family. Our families grew up across the street from each other in Needham. One of my best memories was of trying to make it up Bird's hill in his Model T with kid's piled in the back. We didn't make it...

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Friend was one of my teachers at Needham High (class of '68) and I remember him fondly. Wish we had many more like him, he was a very nice man and a dedicated, patient teacher. May he rest in peace. (Patricia Byrne Brendel, Canton MA)
