Kalis-McIntee Funeral & Cremation Center - Fort Lauderdale/Wilton Manors Obituary

Richard P. Frost "Perry", 63, of Plantation, passed away at home surrounded by family on Sunday, March 26, 2017 in Ft. Lauderdale.
Perry was born in Huntington, NY to Richard Frost and Sally Sweet on April 19, 1953. He graduated with Plantation High School's Class of 1972 and went on to become a graduate of Florida State University. Perry married the love of his life and childhood sweetheart, Susan Kulp in 1978 at St. Gregory's. Beginning their life journey together and settling in Plantation, they became a family of four and Perry built a life to be proud of in the real estate business. Perry celebrated life-long friendships with many rounds of golf, vacations and memorable trips to favorite places, especially North Carolina's Smokey Mountains.
Always gracious and optimistic, Perry will be remembered as a devoted father, family man, valued coach, and trusted friend. He was reserved, had a steadiness of mind, and carried a quiet strength throughout his life. He was admired and respected for his generous, honest, and hardworking spirit. To his family, Perry will always be "The Man".
Perry is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Susan; son Ryan Frost (Brad Phelps); son Kevin Frost (Monique); grandchildren Lyla and Carter Frost; sisters Bobbi Thompson, Pat Austin, Kathy Frost, Judy Kee; brothers Marshall Sweet and Randy Sweet; cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A celebration of life Memorial Mass will be held on April 1, 2017, 12:00 p.m., St. Gregory Catholic Church, 200 N. University Drive, Plantation, FL 33324.
