Nancy,Rick, Cathy, Susan and Bonnie. I just learned of your dad´s passing and wanted to send thoughts and prayers your way. Being neighbor and friend to all of you in Kearsarge I have fond memories. Some of the best times were around that big kitchen table and sharing Funk family vacations. I hope you are all well and thriving which is what your mom and dad always waned for you.

I am very sorry to hear about your father. I love you guys and always here for you. Your father was a beautiful soul.

Yes, Builder was a very special friend to all golf pro´s that he knew personally. I write on behalf of the late John Snyder and Glen Reynolds that thought the world of Dick. May He Rest In Peace.

I knew Richard J. Funk when he was chair of the building committee at Incarnation Church. He was an inspirational chairman getting us to work together and build a beautiful church. When I practiced architecture, he bid on a couple of my projects as a contractor. But he was not successful because his work quality was too good for my clients. He was a great Christian, contractor and human being. May he rest in peace for a life well lived.
