Richard "Dick" Gallivan

My dad (Dan Brady) introduced me to Dick at the Geneseo summer festival several years ago. Dick and my dad were friends when they were young growing up in Buffalo. After our introduction, whenever I saw Dick in town or at the festival, he always greeted me warmly. I was so impressed at how he took the time to ask about my kids, wife and my dad and showed a genuine interest in connecting with me. In was truly inspiring to see how he was so committed to the success of the Geneseo summer...

To the Family and friends - I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I knew Dick when he was President of Geneseo Rotary during one of the 18 years that I made up there, while I was working at CPAC. He was so enthusiastic about Rotary and about the local community and projects. I frequently sat at same table with Dick and enjoyed his humor and stories! He was a very involved member of the Community, and is missed.

Senator Gallivan, I am sorry for the loss of your father. I didn't know him but he raised a fine son according to my father (Jerry Butler). My thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

Sorry to hear of Dicks passing. He was ahead of me on Troop School roster. Shield 2525, mine was 2526. He was one hellava good guy.
