Not sure what to say?

Cheryl,
I have just learned of your dad.
I loved him dearly, he was a great person, father, and a man!
Sorry i could not have attended the services, since i have just learned of his passing.

Dear Cheryl,
I just found out today about your dad and I am so sorry. My prayers are with you and if you need a shoulder I am here. I know how heavy your heart is. I lost my mom in 1983 so I understand what you are feeling.
Please give my condolences to your mom.

Dear Aunt Chris,
I am so sorry to hear of Dick's death. I am out of state, so I will not be able to attend his services. I guess he and Eunice can now celebrate their birthdays together. Take care of you and know that I love you and will be praying for you at this time.

Love you,
Pat

Dick was and is one of the finest men i knew at Exxon refinery. He will be missed by all.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Mr. Gebhart through his relationship with Ray Page. They played golf together for many years and on a few occasions I had the pleasure of playing with him. He was a true gentleman. I really recall his "sense of humor" and "wit". My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May the Peace of God that trancends all understanding be with you at this difficult time.

Having been a close friend of Gwen since the 10th grade, I have been around Mr. Gebhart many times. Even when Gwen and I were mischievous teens, he always seemed more like a friend than a friend's father. As we grew up, I came to know how really fun and warm he was. I know his loving and welcoming personality will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

I am very sad about the news of Mr. Gebhart. I worked with him in the Baton Rouge refinery. After his retirement I enjoyed playing golf with him at Fairwood. Even though he was 30 years my senior, he always made me feel welcome in his company. I am sorry I could not make the service, but currently I am out of country. I will keep his kindness with me.
