Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one and my dear friend. Sincere condolences to this Wife Marion, children Susan and Richard, their children and all who were blessed by being related and those enjoying their friendships with him. Truly, a kind generous man that blessed this world with his life, his work and his relationships.

Dick was a long-time, singularly influential mentor to me and many others in his orbit. From our time together at NASA to our adventures at our company, he hatched countless ideas, met innumerable people all over the world, and created so many memories. I'll deeply miss our regular lunches after "retirement", where we would talk about all things tech and life for hours on end. I was a colleague of Dr. Gedney at ECC and later at Viasat. Though we never worked directly with each other, we used to talk over the years in the hallways and in the break rooms. He always had a great smile and his pleasant demeanor and zest for life would always leave me in a positive mood.

Great person !

I have such fond memories of working with Dick at NASA and am especially fond of the so many lessons Dick cheerfully (always cheerfully!!) went out of his way to pass along to me over the years. I have often said that Dick was one of the most natural and richly competent Project Managers that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. His passing is a very sad loss. Larry Ross

My Dad & I had the true pleasure & laughs with Marion have done our taxes. Lost my Dad yrs ago. I send my heart-filled condolences to Marion & family! Know you´ll cherish all the memories of your cherished love & laughs! God Bless!! Renee Doan, Lakewood, NJ

We, in the NASA community, are going to miss you. You have contributed a lot toward the exploration of the heavens. May God grant you a beautiful place there. You will always be remembered by all your accomplishments. Take care my friend. Badri
