I worked with Dick Geis for many years at Cranford High School. He personified exactly what a teacher should be. He loved what he did, and his caring inspired his students to do more than they ever thought they could do. I observed his teaching style, and I realized that his manner of teaching not only imparted knowledge, but afforded his students confidence that they could achieve success. As noted, his caring reached far beyond the classroom.
My sincere condolences to his family. ...

I graduated Cranford High School in 1974, and while I was not a student of Mr. Geis, I will always remember his smiling face while passing him in the hallways, his friendly greetings, his devoted and sincere dedication to his students. Rest in Peace, Mr. Geis, you will be missed! My deepest condolences to his family.

Dickie will be missed by Frank and Julie. I'm so happy I started him collecting Disney pins, it gave him so much pleasure. His humor was unbeatable. We loved him very much, now rest in piece with Winette. (Julie P.)
