Not sure what to say?

Richard was one of my best friends in High School. We were in most of the same classes. I lost touch with him in college, but I recently found out that he was at RWJ and I had planned to contact him. I'm so sorry I never got the chance. The photo in the paper looks exactly like the H.S. Graduation photo I still have of him.

It seems like just yesterday that we were all at MMC looking at the pictures of Kalla's christening. I remember how he glowed when he talked about his little girl. I am so sorry for your loss. He was an excellent physician and respected by all.

To Richard's family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Richard's death. I went to school with Richard. He had the best sense of humor! His humor got us through some bad days and made the good days better. I'm not surprised to see he became a doctor since he was so much smarter than the rest of us. May God comfort all of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this terribly sad time. I worked with Dr Gervasio at MMC as well as RWJ. His professionalism, his passion for detail, and mostly his sense of humor will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Gervasio family at this very sad time. Dr. G. was truly a remarkable man and will be deeply missed at RWJUHH.

Angie (and David - one of my best buddies from home!!!) - I wanted to share my sympathies on the loss of Dicky ... I am still in-shock myself about his loss. It's hard to do - but I want to send some warm hugs and embraces to each of you from down here in NC ... I will bring special intentions to Church this Sunday on behalf of Dicky and each of you. I visited Ralph (your father's tomb) a few weeks ago at the cemetery during Christmas and said a prayer for him (Ralph is right down the row...

My deepest sympathy to all the Gervasio Family. I am so sorry for your loss. May God Bless you.

I worked with Dr. G. at both RWJ and Capital Health System. I remember him as an excellent physician who mixed professionalism with a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all.
