I am very sorry for your loss. Mr. Geschke was a kind-hearted gentleman and a longtime friend of my Dad's. Growing up, I can remember him coming over to visit my Dad. Mr. Geschke would always call me Candy. We would all sit outside on those nice days or hang out in the garage while my Dad worked on something and just talk. Around the Holidays, I remember Mr. Geschke's fruitcakes for my Dad. These are my wonderful memories. Mr. Geschke will surely be missed not only by me but my dear Father...

Richard is now at peace with the Lord. He has fought through every crisis with his disability and won. Each time things did not look good he would put up his hands and say:" we'll see what happens", even at the end. He always accepted what life dealt him, and enjoyed life to the fullest.
I will surely miss my dear friend.

Extremely well put Bill !! Uncle Dicky will always be with me, especially when I need inspiration. He was an extraordinary man who beat all the odds and told the world that he was a fighter every meaning of the word. His belief in himself and God made him acheive more than anyone ever could. He will continue to live on in each of us.

Perseverance is the one word that best describes Uncle Richard.
What is perseverance?
Perseverance is commitment, hard work, patience, endurance.
Perseverance is being able to bear difficulties calmly and without complaint.
Perseverance is trying again and again.
Uncle Richard was an inspiration to anyone who knew him. Few people have overcome disabilities with as much grace and success as Uncle Richard.
I'll miss your stories about the Browns...
