Dr. Geyer was a driving force for the Dictionary Project after introducing it in Arizona in 2004. He raised money from his friends on his fishing trips and everyone he knew to give dictionaries to the students in Somerton and encouraged all of the Rotarians in Yuma to participate. His extraordinary vision to improve literacy provided dictionaries to over 101,200 children and continues to grow to reach more students. I was lucky enough to share in Dr. G's passion. I spent a few years on long range fishing trips with him and his sons. He was in his 80's at the time but showed everyone what a real fisherman was. He's going to be missed but he can do what he loves again. Peace and best wishes to the family.

Like others, Dr Geyer was my dentist for many years until he retired. A great loss to the dental community. My condolences to Mrs Geyer, Andrea and the family.

Dr Geyer was a great person, dentist and fisherman. He would share his catch with me and my staff. I will always remember him very with deepest regards. My prayers for Mrs. Geyer, Andrea and family.
