Not sure what to say?

Auntie,

Just wanted you to know how proud I am of you for the strength you have shown over this past year.

Things will never be quite the same without Uncle Gibbs, but things would have never been so great if it were not for the lifetime that He shared with us.

Continue to Trust In The Lord and Press Your Way!

To the Gibbs Family:
Please except my deepest sympathy for the loss of a great man whom I and my peers deeply respected. He was more than a teacher, he was a friend and listener. I was in his class for three years at Whitlock Jr High between 1989-1992. I have never respected any man as much as I did Mr. Gibbs. I also remember you from Cleveland elem as the soft spoken librarian! I always thought you were one of the sweetest persons I'd ever encountered in school! My blessings and...

Mrs. Gibbs and family,
Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I have fond memories of Mr. Gibbs from my experience in the SHS band ('71-'73). He was highly respected by one and all. May God bless and comfort you at this time.

Dear Gibbs Family,
Please accept our condolences as we are praying for you. It was a shock to hear of such a wonderful person passing. Mr. Gibbs was more than a teacher, he was a friend. As one of his students, he was always there for us. He was a father for those students who did not have one. As a parent, we wish that our children could experienced him as a teacher and friend. He will surly be missed.

Our prayers go out to you and your family: We would like to take this time to say how deeply my heart goes out to you and your family. I will always remember Mr. Gibbs, with a smile on his face and the kindness he always had when talking with me.
My deepest sympathy to Monique and Judy whom I went to school with. Sorry I could not be there with you in your time of sorrow.

Monique and The Gibbs Family
Spartanburg has lost a great man with the passing of your father. I have always shared with my troops how your father identified early that I was a trombone player. I owe him a great deal of gratitude for my sucess as a professional musician in the Army Band Program. Mr. Gibbs was a true motivator and mentor for alot of young musicians. I think about my first lesson with him and smile because he was always positive and he just plain knew how to get the best...

Dear Monique and Gibbs Family,
My heart is heavy for you all during this time of your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Gibbs several times in Nashville when he and Mrs. Gibbs came to visit Monique. What a joy to meet such a Christian man and woman! You all are his legacy! How wonderful it is that he was such a blessing to all that he met. May God comfort you all during this difficult time.
Love, KiTani, Shenye, LaRissa, Ardis Jr., & V'Ce

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
