Read MoreI have been Dr. Giery's accountant for many years. He was probably the kindest person I have ever met. He was sincere,caring and compassionate. He would never turn somebody away who was in need. He was very proud of his military service-and rightly so. Our nation was lucky to have such a competent person serving for it.

I was a good friend, and former employee of Dr. Giery. I worked with
him at Good Samaritan Hospital, W. Islip, N.Y., and part time as his office nurse. I admired his generosity
and compassion for his staff,as well as his many patients. He was a gifted surgeon and a trusted friend,
and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace...forever!
