Dear Anna May,

I just heard of Dick's death today and I can't tell you how sorry I am to have heard that news. You and your family have my deepest sympathies. I, too, enjoyed working with him in Kiwanis and the children of the world will miss a great man.

Anna May, I'm so sorry about the loss of Dick. He was a fine man and, if any human can be worthy of the title, a fine Christian. I will always treasure my memories of the both of you at Messiah. My family loves you both and we want you to know we're here if you need us.

Anna May,

Janie and I were very saddened to learn of Dick's passing away. He was a friend and a great Kiwanian. It was always a pleasure working with Dick because he was one you could count on to get the job done. He was always willing to do more than his share. I treasure the memories of the many activities we participated together for many years. May God grant you peace.

I knew Dick throughout his career with the packaging area of RJR. He was a very nice person and I held him in high regard. You have my deepest sympathy and will remain in my thoughts and prayers during the difficult days ahead. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Linda Mickey, RJR Retiree, Pkg. Personnel Department

The love and deep respect that I have for Dick cannot be expressed. He was one of a kind.
