I met Hunter in 2009 when I was in the USA working as a nanny. He was such a funny, genuine lad who I have never forgotten. I am so sad to hear he is no longer with us and send my deepest condolences.

The thing I loved about Hunter was his huge smile. Whenever he met me his face would light up and he would greet me with a huge hug.

One evening Hunter and I spent some time together as he shared his poems and some other memories of his family. He broke down and cried when he talked about his mom and how he loved her and some of the experiences they had together. It was a sweet time together and I will always cherish it. Another evening he shared some more memories of his cultrue and heritage and it seemed he took great pride in what he was. I thought of him tonight and will always thank God for the privilege of knowing him.

Hunter was an astounding person. I'm sure that now he's smiling down on us from a cloud in the sky and watching over us.
He was there for me through some tough times in Yellowstone, and I'll never forget our last soccer game together. He always knew how to make me smile and I regret not saying g'bye when I last saw him and not initiating contact with him after I left the ranch. Especially since in the past few weeks I'd been thinking about him a lot, mostly reminiscing about all the fun...
