Not sure what to say?

I will and still do forever remember my grandfather aka Poppy...

My Dear Brother,I'm missing you so much already. I am so blessed to have had 74 years with you. I will cherish every memory we shared. Remember last year at my house when we were celebrating The Fourth of July, and I had baked a cake for the picnic and for some reason I thought it was your birthday. I put candles on the cake and we sang Happy Birthday to you and you just sat there wondering what was going on because your birthday was not until August 5. You were so gracious in not saying...

Dear Uncle Richard,
I will never forget and always treasure the memories that you have left with me. From telling me all the stories about how you and my Dad, Ollie, used to pal around(before he met your sister Susan!!)and how Grandma Roesing would read you the riot act, "leading my son a stray." How you and Dad used to laugh at that!! And I remember when you took Denise, Marsha and I to the Mummers Parade on New Years Day in Philadelphia and numerous times that we went shopping...

Dick,
On our journey to say our goodbyes, Margie, Bernie, Sarah, and I, felt your presence with love and laughter. We reminisced of all our good times as a family and how important you were to all of us. Your death made us realize how much we need to embrace each other (with all our faults) and to take the time to share our lives together. You are the first of Mommys' perfect dozen to leave us and we will miss you.
God Bless and I love you.
Sister Penny

My Dear Richard,
I will always remember the fond memories that I have spent with you on our "short trips, the long way around." I love you and will miss very much.
Love,
Lois

Uncle Dick-
I have so many wonderful memories of you growing up. You always called my brother, William, and I "bums," but with a tremendous amount of affection. Even though you always replied with "yep, yep" when I told you I loved you, I never once doubted how much you loved me. I'll miss you!
Love,
Your Little Bum

Uncle Dick.. You were never without a smile.. I will always remember Your silly sense of humor..I love You..Rest in Peace.

YOUR WERE A GOOD NEIGHBOR. ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP, WHEN EVER NEEDED. WILL MISS YOU.

Gilly,

I remember when I got out of Basic Training (1969), you became my first motor pool Sgt. You were my mentor and taught me a lot about the military and maintaining the military vehicles. You recommended me for promotion (E-5). You gave a lot to the community and our Country. You were very proud of your family. You were loved and well respected by the ones who you lead the way for. You are a hero. Sgt. Gilpin, I salute you, and thank you for all that you have done. You...
