Rich was an extrodanary man. He was always very helpful and inspirational to all of us who knew him. I had such good times together with Dave, Barb and Rich when they visited CA. Dick is one of the great Scouting mentors of which I have looked up to and admired for his leadership. He always set a fine example of living by the values of scouting. I am sure that his spirit lives on through the many of us that follow his trail.

I had the great honor of meeting Mr. G. (he will alway be "Mr. G." to me), over 30 years ago when I joined his son's Scout troop. He was a wonderful mentor and a surrogate grandfather to me in many ways on my trail to Eagle. I will forever hold wonderful memories of this fine gentleman conducting boards of review, acting as master of ceremonies, and being my lodge advisor.
