Not sure what to say?

I only knew Mr. Ginsburg professional although over the years he accompanied me through the immigration labyrinth, I grew very fond of him. He was an exceptional, honest man and attorney. He has my respect and gratitude for as long as I am here on this planet. Thank you! Thomas

Dick in Paraguay during his Peace Corps tour.

I met Dick in 1968 in training for our Peace Corps tour in Paraguay. He was one of the closest volunteers to me in country and we'd see each other occasionally. We became fast friends. The same scenario played out when we both ended up living in Oregon in the 1970s. We shared many camping and canoe trips, bird-watching outings to eastern Oregon, and restaurant meet-ups in McMinnville and elsewhere. We always relaxed in the ease of our friendship over many decades. His passing left a bit of a...

You sent me a letter while I was in the hospital, so kind, and it's only just that I write something for you. A nice man, RIP

Dick was the model of a good man for us Sandborn girls. Hardworking and ethical out in the world But probably more important to us Dick was a kind, gentle man at home. It was reassuring to just sit in his strong quiet presence. The love that he and Rosalia shared is something all three of us aspire to foster in our own lives. As with so many others, our lives are better for having loved and known Dick Ginsberg.

With love, Kristen, Kathleen, and Nikki

Dick spoke to me 3 days before his untimely death on one of the cases I was working with. And also gave me ths chocking news on his health. When I heard his demise, I just couldnt function as a human being for several hours as this was so sudden. I had known Dick, first as a business attorney and later we became close to call each other as "family". I just have those wonderful years of memory to keep Dick in my heart..

Dick,

I just cant believe you are no longer on this earth. Just doesn't compute...Magdaleno has lost by far his best friend....I cant imagine not hearing how you two would laugh and get away with the most irreverent of jokes...we are not taking your absence well..we wont let death get in the way.....you presence will continue to be felt. peace

Dick, Rosalia, Brian and Chela may God wrap his arms around you.God Bless you all!

Rosalia, I send my love and sorrow and solidarity. You and Dick were great partners in your manifest and profound love for each other and your family, and in your steady, life long devotion to direct social justice work. Dick is mourned, clearly, by large, vital networks of people whose lives you and he changed for the better. The things I remember most vividly about Dick were his grand, joyful enthusiasm, his infectious laughter, and his steady, faithful commitment to improving this...
