Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Dick and I were close friends as teens, the Gleason home was my home away from home. We shared a love of music and radio. I am very sad to hear this news, but so proud of my old friend. All my love to his family, you had a great guy in your corner.

I never met Dick (that I know of) but when I was young our family rented an apt. from his grandmother Ida and later his father Wally for about 19 years. Don't remember Dick but I do remember his cousins who grew up in Sudbury MA who would come to visit Ida in the summer.
My condolences to the Gleason clan.

I was fortunate enough to be a frequent flyer in the Gleason household growing up in the small town of Norway, Maine. Mr. Gleason, and the whole Gleason family taught me valuable lessons that are not taken for granted to this day. Their grace, forgiveness, and generosity go unmatched. Thank you for your service.

Dick was my boss at WSKW in 1972. He was so young then he couldn't rent a car! He had to fire me because I went over the FCC allotted time for a daytime radio station on New Year's Day 1973. No hard feelings - he was just protecting the staion's license! My heart goes out to his friends and family - I wish I'd kept up with him over the years.
