Not sure what to say?

Nichole and I will never forget you. Thank you for all you have done for us in the past. God bless you!

Dear Uncle Fat Boy,

I cried when mom told me of your passing and I've cried since more than once. I'll miss your sly smile and your voice. I'll miss your hat and suspenders. I'll miss, but never forget the way I felt being around you and the horses and cows. Thank you for teaching us kids about rodeo.
I still remember when you and my dad put me on that black calf while I was crying and how you both assured me that you wouldn't let go of me and let me fall. That you...

It takes a while to sort out what to say about this man who was my Grandpa Richard. He taught me a lot of things in my life, electricity - "sure, you can pee on that barb wire fence", and "grab this spark plug wire". Bees, Mail Pouch, Olympia, pickups, roping (heal of course), feeding cattle (chasing them down the road when they got out), and a million other things that happen when you spend a lifetime related to a cowboy. He was proud when he told me that on a certain plane ride he sat next...

I only knew grandpa for a short time , but I am glad for the opportunity I had. On the way back from his sister Nancys' home we listened to an audio track of the services. Lajaunta had talked about his never missing a chance to make even a complete stranger laugh. I reflected back to the time I spent with him,I recently spent five weeks with him on "short legged ranch", and can honestly say nothing is farther from the truth. Every single time we went to town, he would stop someone to get them...

I met my dad less than 2 years ago. I found out his name several years ago after being told that the man I thought to be my dad (he was dying of cancer) was not my father. After trying on several occasions to locate him in Oklahoma I had resigned myself to never know my father. I was surprised when my mom called me asking permission to give my dad my phone number. She had gotten a call from the daughter of a childhood friend of hers who found him while browsing the internet (she found him...

I was sorry to hear that Richard had died. My younger brother died at approximately the same time. I had met him again, after many years, and Gary and his children were only beginning to get to know him. They were all looking forward to many hapy times together.

I had the pleasure of meeting Richard when he and Gary came up to South Dakota and am honored to have been able to become aquainted with and spent some time with him. He was a very nice man.

Lets see here I knew of Fat Boy all my life. From my daddy they came to see us went I was small then him and Aunt Maria came went I was about 14 they can in the middle of the night we all fast asleep and the dog we had at the time would nip heals. And Fat Boy was trying to get his mom up the ramp to our house went the tryed to bite him twice. Then he got to the door and beat on it untill someone came, I got up and saw them then and went back to as did everone else after they got their things...

DEAR UNCLE FAT BOY I'VE BEEN MISSING YOU TODAY. I WAS THINKING OF THE DAYS WHEN AS KIDS YOU AND OTHERS WOULD MAKE US RIDE CALVES AS IF WE WERE PRO BULL RIDERS IN THE MAKING. I REMEMBER YOUR LAUGH WHEN WE TOOK A FALL AND YOUR HEARTIER LAUGH WHEN WE ACTUALLY RODE ONE. THEN THE TIME WHEN WE WENT TO GO MOVE SOME CATTLE AND YOU TRUSTED ME TO RIDE YOUR BEST CUTTING HORSE TO CUT A BULL OUT OF THE HEARD AN LOAD IT. YOU TRIED TO SPOOK THE BULL SO IT WOULD TURN, KNOWING THE HORSE WOULD TURN SHARPLY AND...
