Not sure what to say?

I only learned of Ritchie passing now. I worked with Dr Goldberg in NBGH. He was always easy to talk to and fun to work with. RIP Doc.

To the Goldberg Family my thoughts and prayers go to you! I am lost for words he was my Dr. and I enjoyed seeing him when I needed something or I wasn't well he would always find a way to make me laugh. He not only was a great Dr. but was a genuine good hearted man and enjoyed helping people. He will be greatly missed. Again sorry for your loss an my god bless you all in healing.

A great friend and supportive and kind colleague during my years as director of Berlin VNA. Rich was medical director and confidant to us all. . It was a pleasure to enjoy some fun times together in south west florida where we had both retired. His infectious humor was with him always.

Doc became the "family physician" of Jenny and I in 1984 just as I was beginning my 15 year term as Executive VP and General Manager of the New Britain Red Sox/Rock Cats. The Boston Red Sox were looking for a local MD to take care of their players/coaches and it was a "no brainer" to bring Richie on board. He became a great medical resource to the team and would take a call at any hour of the day to help out the players. He became the physician to our boys, Joe and Jordan, in their young...

In my younger days as a Emergency Room Unit Secretary; I had the pleasure of working with DR. Goldberg when he was a resident. He was always a delight!!! My family has used him as their primary care provider as well through the most recent times - and he will be surely missed. You could not meet a more compassionate man who loved his profession and patients. It was with deep sadness that I read he had passed on and he sure did give 'the good fight'. Our family is so saddened at this loss.

I knew Dr. Goldberg through the Rock Cats so his legacy in my mind is the wonderful work and caring support he lent professional baseball in New Britain. Doc, you hit a home run that I'll never forget.

Richie was a True Friend. His outrageous sense of humor was infectious. He was compassionate and caring ,and even though he was battling illness for a long time,he was always there when you needed him to be. Loved by his patients, colleagues and friends he truly will be missed. My deepest sympathy goes out to his loved ones. Take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in the hearts of the ones whose lives he touched. Memories of love and laughter. RIP Dr. "Gucci". I will miss you my...
