Not sure what to say?

I met Richard in the army in Germany. We became friends and saw each other in the U.S. We went to the Catskills, where I wrote music to one of his poems: "Is it worth a tear, is it worth an hour To think of things that are well outworn Of fruitless husk and fugitive flower The dream forgone and the hope forsworn" Richard Evans

He taught me to love literature. What a gift!

Dear Susan and Family. I have been thinking of you all month, sending you well wishes. I know that Richard touched and inspired so many, as you do too, Susan- a true gift to our community, planet, and of course my family . If there is anything that we can do, please let me know. My heart goes out to you all, hopefully close to the way that Richard gave, reached out, and helped so many. Peace be with you,
Robert Bucky Levine and Family

Dear Susan and Family,
Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Susan and Family,

I can't tell you how sad it made me to read of your loss. My heart and prayers are with you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Sincerely,
Kristina

I saw the obiturary for Richard today. I remember after my father died in 1980 (and I was having a hard time) coming to Richard for help. He helped me a great deal and my love of Gestalt Therapy made his style very comfortable. I remember being at a party either at your house or where I saw you and Richard again. I hope that whoever grieves for Richard will be given as much comfort as he was to me during my grieving...Ishmael
