Not sure what to say?

For all of us fortunate to have known Rick, we remember his sense of humor, sense of purpose, and dedication to family and friends. I knew him as a child in Woodbridge Connecticut too and remember his blazing speed at pickup football games, his prowess as my tennis doubles partner at Amity HS, and his kindness to all.

It's hard to believe, 11 years have past. We think of you often and miss you a great deal. We considered your friendship a blessing and treasure all the memories that enable you to live on in our hearts.

We all miss Ricky. He was a great friend to many, an Amity 73 and Wesleyan 77 classmate, and a remarkable physician , parent and spouse.

It's years later and I still think about you. You were a good friend. I miss you deeply and thank you for all you did for me. You really were one of a kind.

I offer my prayers for the Goldman family in celebrating Rick's life even amidst the sadness. Rick was one of my first friends and classmates at Amity Junior High School and Amity HS. I am very saddened , and with the greatest sympathy. He was one of my best friends. I knew him for 22 years. We were inseparable. We had so many good times, and time has passed
so quickly. Our deepest secrets will stay between us, and carry us to the next place. I love you and always had.

Love Paula

Rick will always be remembered for his passion on and off the softball field. I had the pleasure of playing with him for many years and enjoyed each Sunday when we found our way to the field. A true mentsch and great shortstop. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

August 13 2009,
We are so saddened and shocked to hear of Rick's death. I have know him since college and my wife Jane Clark was a colleague at Framingham Union with him. We always held him in the highest regard - as a physician and as a wonderful person - and our deepest sympathy and thoughts go out to his family. We are sorry for this belated message but just heard and hope that his wonderful legacy and memories of him will help ease the sadness of this very great loss

Belatedly, I just learned of Rick's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Rick and his family.

Rick and I met and became friends freshman year of college and shared interests and a special enthusiasm for life.

Rick and I reconnected after graduation several times - once by chance in Stowe while skiing and more recently at our 30th class reunion followed by a lunchtime get together near his medical practice in Wellesley.

Over the years my memories of...
