Not sure what to say?

I met Richard many years ago through my affiliation with the local Volvo enthusiast groups. To say he was a pillar in the community is an understatement. Keep the beer cold and hold me a spot in the paddock Richard, I'm sure we'll meet again.

Thank You for fueling this crazy addiction and love for cars others laugh at. I feel like I have lost a friend. Godspeed Richard. You have left a big dent in this world. What better to say about a man at the end that he was all class and changed the world for the better?

My thoughts go out to the Gordon family and hope that many happy memories of times you shared with Richard will help you get through this difficult time - I knew Richard for many years doing business with IPD- but my fondest memories are of his fantastic racing days at PIR - always will think of him when Rob is out on the track in his car.

I had the pleasure of meeting Richard online as I was building my race car; he was remarkably helpful and gracious with my numerous questions, given that he had a successful company to run.
I was lucky enough to get to meet him in person a few years later, and was always struck with his sense of humor, his love of the sport, and the love and admiration he expressed for his son, who would trounce me with shocking regularity at the track, driving Richard's wickedly fast old race car.

Richard impacted every Volvo enthusiast for the last 50 years. He always sought improved performance in his cars and those around him.He will be missed by all who knew him.

Rest in peace sir. Rare is a company that takes as good of care of their customers as iPD, and that is a testament to the kind of man that Mr. Gordon was. He will be missed.

Words fail me. Richard was the most honest, authentic, clear and sensible person I've ever worked for, and ever worked with. One of my heroes, my boss, my colleague, my friend. Godspeed #79.

My condolences to Richard's family.
Richard inspired Volvo enthusiasts with his business, his vision and his example of conducting himself with class and grace. Thanks Richard, for being you.

My condolences.
