From El Paso TX, we didn´t know if this man but we are watching Mecum and a man that took such care of such an amazing car collection had to have been the classiest person ever. Saturday nights, in Cottage Grove, Michigan, were always so special as Rick would come in like a movie star. The best presence, the dreamiest cologne, and he made time to speak to everyone because he was always interested. I am forever grateful for having Rick as a friend and an influence.

One of Dayton's & the car community's "Greatest" will be deeply missed. Very sad to lose you Rick .

Rick was, as written in his obituary, a man of a few but meaningful words. His generosity touched many. His friendship was articulated with humor and wry comments.
