Not sure what to say?

Richard was a great friend and associate. We enjoyed many times together and shared the passion for pediatric cardiology. He was a devoted follower of my ultrasound teachings. Norman Silverman , [email protected]

Richard brought much joy into my life, for which I am grateful. May his legacy serve as an inspiration to all who care for children.

Our family is saddened by the loss of Dr. Greene. He was such an important part of our boys, Amir and Gabriel's life. He not only treated them physically by also emotionally. His kindness and care will always be remembered. We lived in the same neighborhood and often her saw our boys when we ran up the hill. We had such good memories we bought his house! Our sympathies to the family, may their memories be a comfort. Harvey, Miram, Amir, and Gabriel Rosenthal

Dr Greene was my pediatrician growing up, as well as the rest of my four siblings, and my favorite doctor of all time. My mom was his nurse for a while and always praised what an amazing doctor he was. He was kind, and made you feel respected and understood. I always felt safe when Dr Greene was around and I'm beyond sad to hear of his passing. Rest in peace, good doctor. My whole family mourns your passing. You will be missed.

Dr Green was the pediatrician for my 3 kids. He was the most wonderful doctor my kids ever had. When my son turned 18 he refused to leave Dr Greene. We are so sad to hear of his passing

Having Richard Greene as our family's pediatrician was like having a good luck charm. His knowledge and his warmth gave us the confidence that our children would always be well cared for. Our son Chad was 18 when Richard told him he probably needed to get a new doctor. We were blessed to have had him at our side when our children were growing up. Our thoughts are with you Linda and your children. He was simply, the best! Beverly and Pat Smith

First met him in 1957. In the attached picture he was in the row, second from the top, wearing glasses. (I was in the bottom row, 9 years old).

My 2 year old daughter had a high fever for days with no symptoms and I was so worried. We came in to see Dr. Richard Greene at PAMF and he immediately said your daughter has a urinary tract infection without any exam. I said how do you know since you have not even examined her. Well sure enough after he put a urine catheter in my daughter he did confirm that she did in fact have a urinary tract infection. I then thought of Dr. Richard Greene as a brilliant & incredibly experienced doctor. I...

I have known Rich since our pediatric residency days at Stanford and over many years of attending Pediatric Grand Rounds. He was a wonderful pediatrician, colleague, teacher and our daughters' first pediatrician. Rich was warm and friendly to all and never shy about expressing himself. He was a member of the Vintage Docs, our CA Chapter 1 Seniors Committee of the AAP. I will miss him greatly.
