Not sure what to say?

Dear Bert,
I am so sorry to hear about Dick's passing. He was a great boss. He believed in people's potential, and he helped many (including me) to grow personally and professionally. I often think back fondly on my years at the GRC - under Dick's leadership there was a very real feeling of community and family that I will always cherish. Please know that you are not alone in your sadness, and that you are in the thoughts and prayers of your many friends. If your travels bring you back...

Dear Bert,

I am very sorry to learn today of Dick's passing. I look back fondly on my years at the GRC under his fine leadership. Your marriage to him was a great conclusion to his career! May you find comfort in the esteem that everyone held for him.

Warm regards,

Jerry

Burt,I am sorry I am late and sorry to hear of your loss. I know what you are going through. Everyone tells me things will get better with time. It is taking a long time for me. But it will and is getting better.
Your Friend Buster Zimmerman

Dear Bert,

I am sorry for this late response to note Dick's passing. I found out about this only recently. I am glad to have this opportunity to express my condolences. As you know, Dick gave me a major break at NIH, and I will always remember him for that. He was a wise, thoughtful, and patient mentor and leader at a critical time for the institute. I will always cherish those as the most happy times I have spent at the GRC in over 27 years there. Your abundant help and support...

Bert,
Zeke and I are so sorry to hear about Dr. Greulich's passing. I have many wonderful memories of our times together at GRC. Dr. Greulich was the one that instilled confidence in me to apply for the Procurement Officer position many moons ago. For that I will be always grateful. Diane tells me that you have many wonderful friends at Ocean Pines that will help you through this. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
