Dear Rick and Elizabeth; I heard only a few days ago that Richard Hans has passed away in February; I am very sorry for your loss. When I read the obituary I was absolutely impressed to read the amazing curriculum from the military career in his younger years, followed by his career in the insurance world, his numerous social activities and his involvement as volunteer in schools and in churches in later years. He really must have been a fascinating person. My condolences to the whole family...

Only by accident I was just informed that Richard has gone. That is a great loss. He was such a help with the family history of the Griesser line in USA. It is a pity that we found nobody of his descendants, willing to continue his work.
