I had Mr. Griffin for Wood Shop when I was in 7th or 8th grade. It must have been around 1960 or 1961 when Mills first opened. I always remembered him as a kind, friendly person. I still have the bookcase I built in his class. My condolences to Mr. Griffin's family.

I missed the services for Red by one day. The news was a shocker.He was a wonderful eron even as a child. Griffinville was the center of lots of activities until the new homes were built on Griffin Road and Harris Road. Just writing this note brings back many good memories, We often commuted to New Britain together (TCC) made the right decisions n that one as we both became teachers all beit on other sides of the States.
