Richard Griffiths

Dick was a Docent at the Blackhawk Automotive Museum, Danville, when I joined the staff January 1995. He was quick to help me take Museum cars to Bay Area car shows including the San Francisco International Auto Show. Dick did principal photography for the Museum's Quarterly full-color Newsletter, including images that wrapped around from front to back covers of such cars as Phil Hill's Ferrari from the early 1950s Pebble Beach Road Races & the Duesenberg that Clark Gable & Carole Lombard...

I was saddened to learn of the loss of Dick and extend my sincere sympathy to his daughter Susan and his loving and loved Karen (who I was fortunate to have met) as well as to the rest of his family. I had the absolute privilege of working with, and getting to know Dick in providing Occupational Therapy services to him a few months ago at Pleasanton Nursing and Rehab.
