My condolences to you and your family for your loss.
During my time at WOOD.TV I remember him as the most capable manager on the staff and a very good person.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Russ Vossen, G.R. MI.

I was sorry to hear the sad news of Dick's passing. He was a gracious, personable individual & he and Gloria a lovely couple. My deepest sympathy to Gloria and the family. I know Dick will be dearly missed.

I just received the notice about Dick.
Sorry for your loss and my best to the
kids he adored. I started Dick in radio at MSU as a student announcer and we remained close for years. I started WZZM TV in 1962 and almost joined Dick in Columbus in 1988. Instead, I stayed in G R as asst city manager for 9 yrs. We live in
Clermont, Florida now (5 yrs) but I'll always remember Dick as one of the good guys.
