May peace and rest be yours.
Dear Carol and family: we were sadden to learn of Richard's passing. We have known him for many years. He was generous with his talents, very considerate and respectful of others, and a great help to us over the many years we knew him. It was always a pleasure to sit and talk with him about many issues; he was knowledgeable about many things and shared good advice. We know he is with the Lord and is now painless and at great peace. You and your family will continue to be in our prayers. ...

Carol and family, i am so sorry for the loss of Richard. It was such a joy to see both of you at our reunions. I remember well the visit you made to the Pigeon River in Michigan to see us. In my thoughts and prayers.

How comforting to know that God is near tothese who are broken at heart. (Isaiah 57:15) He can strengthen your family during this time!

Jan and I are heartbroken at Dick's passing. He was our friend for over 30 years, and we will miss him greatly. Always cheerful and willing to help others, he was a true gentleman.
Our hearts go out to Carol in her hour of grief, and we hope that she can find solace in the knowledge that Dick is now in the arms of God and without pain or care.
Rest in peace, old friend.
