Not sure what to say?

This reminder of Richie´s passing has brought to mind so many beautiful memories, especially of going with him to our junior prom. I also remember how good he always smelled! I think he wore Canoe. There´s a special spot in my heart for him always.

Leslie, we only heard today about Richard's passing and are so soory to hear about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Jackie and BJ Harman

I consider myself lucky to have known Rich for the time I did. He was fun, generous, and knew how to live life to the fullest. I will always remember how he would always do something special to brighten someone's day. Leslie and girls, I am sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed by so many of us.

Leslie, Jocie, Kate, and Joseph, My prayers are with you. Kate and Jocie, your dad talked about you all the time and wanted all your dreams to come true. I hope these few words of encouragemt can help to comfort you, but remember ultimately peace is found in the word of God. Your dad knew that very well and I believe it is why he could live life the way he did. He wanted to enjoy every minute and he wanted that for everyone he knew. I love him dearly and I thank God for him. I am a better...

I consider myself blessed to have met, socialized and worshipped with Rich. He left an indelible impression on the congregants of Fountain Baptist Church that knew him. His personality and warmness were always apparent, but the exmple of true Christian love he showed through his attentiveness to a seriuosly injured friend, endeared me to him that much more. My family and I grieve, yet still we are thanking GOD for lending such a warm spirit to us "for a little while" !
GOD Bless you Rich,...

Dearest Leslie and girls-
I have so many fond memories of Richard and still have the Navajo wall hanging you both gave to us as a wedding gift hanging in my living room.

I was just looking at my old photo album the other day and came across pics we took when Dan and I came to visit you in Georgia.

Please accept my deepest condolences.

Prayers and love to you and your family.

God Bless,

Barbara Shevkun

I went to High School with Rich. He always had a smile and infectious laugh. I am very sorry for your loss.

Dear Leslie and Girls,
Condolences from your Iowa cousins. Will be in touch soon. Hope there are good memories to help you through difficult times.

I was one of the Battle Hill Girls, and Richard was my junior prom date. He was the sweetest guy, always smelled of Canoe, and I loved him. I was out of touch for so, so many years, but last January I was back in NJ and stopped into Roots one evening. I was able to say hello and give him a big hug and kiss. I'm so grateful for that. My sincerest condolences to his family.
