Not sure what to say?

Just learned of Richard leaving. Although I didn´t know him long. He was an amazing person to spend a bit of time with during his haircuts. He was definitely one of the most interesting people I had ever had the privilege. He spoke highly of his wife Stella and their children. He indulged me with tales of their travels and even sent me a postcard from one. The Galapagos. For someone to take the time to send a postcard made my day. I still have it. While I´m late in learning this news. I still...

With sadness we found out that our neighbor Richard has passed. My wife and I lived behind their Mosier house on Feldspar Drive until April 1991. We spent a number of delightful neighborhood parties with him and Stella, and enjoyed their great kindness and their interest in everyone. May he rest in peace, and may Stella find peace in her heart in this difficult time. Frans Bosman and Linda Brice, formerly at 875 Feldspar Drive Mosier.

Dear Guillory Family, Seventy years ago, when I was nine years old, Dick Guillory was a student at Reed College. As a summer job, he was what we then called a "park tender" at Westmoreland Park, responsible for the immaculate grooming of the two English bowling greens at the park. I grew up in the Westmoreland area of Portland, a few blocks from the park. I'm sure I hung on the fence, chattering at Dick as he went about his work. He was always so pleasant to me. I recall at the end of the...

We are so sorry. Our hearts go out to Stella and your family. We have loved getting to know you both on Rocky Prairie. You will be deeply missed. Bennett and Andrew

My dad, David Wharton, was a friend of Dr Guillory´s. He was very sad to hear of his passing and know he´ll be writing to you. My mom shared the obituary with me. Our family visited yours in Hawaii in 1975. I was the 4 year-old tagging along but I remember my trip well. How everyone fit in a little car made me giggle -one of your daughters jumped in the hatch, I remember. I was in awe of how beautiful these "older girls" were. Those were good memories. Dr Guillory was among just a handful...

We will miss seeing you, Richard, at our Rocky Prairie Pot Lucks in Mosier. May you, Stella & your family be blessed & at peace during this sad time.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

I will always remember "Uncle Richard." He was my grandfather's brother and a genuinely nice person. He always greeted everybody with a hug, a kiss and a question of how you were. So many memories and he will be missed

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
