Not sure what to say?

Fond memories of "the guys" playing nickel dime poker on Friday nights for so many years. Can still close my eyes and hear the all laughing in the den when it was Dad's turn to host. Doc Gulden was always such a jolly person and fun to run into over the years. Condolences to Rick and Gayle.

My condolences! I only got to know Doc over the last few years. He was a wealth of knowledge about Camp Hill. WhenEver my dog got out I knew to go check with Doc and she was inside visiting with him. Rest In Peace Doc!

My condolences to the family. I met Dick at meetings of the Central Pennsylvania Optometric Society many years ago. We later chatted about his practice when he was selling. He then became a lunch time companion when a group of optometrists made a habit of visiting the Ho-Wah in Lemoyne for a number of years. We heard about "the old days" at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia (Dick was about 31 years my senior). I made sure to buy a Christmas Tree from him at the Lions...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I had the Pleasure of meeting Mr Richard Gulden at Cumberland Crossing he put a smile on my face every day . May you Rest In Peace

I was a patient of Dr. Gulden’s in the 60s. I was always impressed by his concern and care for his patients. My sincere sympathy for the family..May God’s love and Blessing be with you during this difficult time.

I remember Dick as a volunteer with the Camp Hill School District's Outdoor Education program. We volunteered together at Camp Canadensis. My best memory was observing Dick wearing a knit skull cap to bed in the unheated cabins, in part to keep his head warm but also to keep the ear plugs in place to muffle the snoring in the men's cabin. He was a great guy and also a volunteer for the Lion's Club. He would help out at the pancake breakfast. Rest in peace buddy.

Had a lot of good times with Dick playing golf. Was always a great time just to be in company with him. God's Peace to the family.

I was a patient of Doc Gulden from 1963 thru his retirement in 1991. Always friendly. I would occasionally run inro him outside of his practice. My parents were also patients. He will be missed. Cherish the memories!

I have known him almost all my life. I knew his mom and dad they lived on the same street i grew up on. He was a wonderful person and a eye doctor. We will all miss him. Betty(palko) kleimann
