Not sure what to say?

Dear Lynn,
We have just heard of the passing of Richard, please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss. Richard had an easy smile and was always ready with a great story about his sports career or a friend from Pittsfield. What a wonderful man and co-worker. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to your family. We grew up together and played sports together a great gang to be with growing up. So many great memories of a very good time. My deepest sympathy for your loss of such a great man.

My condolences to Richard's wife Lynn. Was a good friend of Richard for many of years. Richard RIP.

Dick was a great guy and a good friend.

We played a lot of sports together growing up at Springside Park. At this time of year that often meant shoveling the snow off the basketball court and shooting hoops with mittens and gloves. That was how he honed the shooting skills that served him well at PHS.

RIP my friend.

To the Gull Family:

While I have not seen Richard in many years, I have very good memories of him playing on the basketball team and it seems like only yesterday. The team of 1962 was a great team. He was a very quiet guy in high school but always had a ready smile. May your memories of him sustain you through this difficult time.

The neighborhood won't be the same without Richard there. His friendly, helpful attitude was welcoming from my first day in my new home! I will surely miss his friendly wave while I am gathering my mail or mowing the lawn, and the neighbor bond that forms from sharing stories, and sometimes, tools.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dick..I was a member of the 1962 PHS basketball team that went to the Garden..Dick was a great teammate as well as friend and he will surely be missed by many..Rest in Peace my friend

So sorry to hear! May he Rest In Peace!
