Richard was a regular at a bar I worked at in Chicago, a place called RJ Grunts in Lincoln Park. We decided to travel together to Colorado for a month of adventure. Due to heavy snow we detoured to Telluride ; a more southerly direction. Telluride was instantly our new home, the folks were welcoming. We both found jobs.
