Richard was born May 13, 1926, the son of Henrietta Marie Nieder and Theodore Henry Hack. He was a lifelong resident of Lawrence and only moved twice. How sad the news of Richard's death. He was a good neighbor to Bill and always so thankful and kind when receiving the simplest favor. I loved his hearty laugh and his appreciation of a clever joke.
A wonderful man.
Sincere sympathy.

We have been missing Richard since he had to go to the care home. Used to enjoy sitting on the tailgate and shooting the breeze. Milly was a wonderful person, they are together again.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Hack's passing. He (and Millie) were our neighbors on Arizona Street from not long after our house was built in 1966. I was just a 4th grader at the time. My Dad, Ned, and Dick were good friends, and in later years when Dick would stick his hand between the shears on the front window and move it up and down, you knew it was the signal to come in and talk.
