Not sure what to say?

On the anniversary of his death, I remember fondly my good memories of working with Richard on Space Grant projects and his wonderful and upbeat personality. He is still missed by me and many.

Did it post? Just in case, resending. Boss! Yes, can call you that. BOTH you and Karen are among my TOP MENTORS. NOT letting go of WKU or the times and experiences. DEEPLY REGRET that you switched dimensions without my permission, kind of makes it difficult for direct communications. NO DOUBTS you are in a GREAT PLACE with a LOT of activity going on. I got a snapshot in Jan. 1987 with increased my partial recall of my presence there before here. Really VERY thankful for all the supports....

Boss! Yes, I can rightfully call you that - WOW and what a surprise. Deepest regrets you switched dimensions without my permission. Due to personal experiences I have NO DOUBTS you are in MUCH GREATER places with a LOT more going on. NOT letting go of my WKU experiences and yes, with some very deep regrets. Physics and the universe ROCKS (pun fully intended). HOPE to meet again and in the meantime - posting you with other mentors this life.

Richard will always be remembered. He was a great individual and I worked with him at the Hardin Planetarium for several years. Rest In Peace.

Lisa Harp & Alice Pillow (BSA`s @TCCW)Our Condolences on your loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. We are thankful to have met Dr. Richard Hackney and were blessed that he got to enjoy paradise in Hawaii of September 2006 with his family. May your memories bring you comfort.

I was very sad when I learned that Dr. Richard Hackney had passed away. I will always appreciate the opportunities I had as a student, which were made possible by Dr. Hackney's support via the KSGC.
I will always remember our conversations about amateur radio, and appreciate all the encouragement he gave me.

Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of Dr. Richard Hackney. He was an outstanding person and a great mentor to so many. He will be greatly missed.

A beautiful light has gone out here in Kentucky - a great teacher is gone too soon. However, I am positive that I see one more star shining in the night sky.
