Richard Hager

I lost track of Dick Hagar after the Sunnyvale days, but never, never forgot him. A Google search for his status led me to this obituary. He phoned my college baseball coach while he managed us in the Minnesota Twins Peninsula Winter League. Whatever he told the coach worked! I started the first game of the year, and my competition, whom I sat watching for two previous years, quit the team in response. Dick Hagar was a most decent person. My condolences & prayers to Dick's family. I enjoyed seeing him and Betty & Bonnie at Towsley when I came there. He was a sweet man.
