I was just sent this news by my Barnard College classmate. Richie was my "rent a date" at Barnard when he was at Columbia Law. Met him again at synagogue in White Plains many years later He was just such a good guy. Belated condolences to the Haimowitz family.

I am so sorry to hear of Richard’s passing. We went to high school together. Hung out all time time. Richie was one of the kindest, smartest caring persons I have known.
There were three of us Steven Kramer, Richie and myself. The three musketeers through high school, college and beyond. We had so many great times together. Some how we drifted apart. Now Kramer and and Richie are gone.
Part of my heart and memories are gone. Love them and will miss them every day. To old friends!!

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Richard. Richard's parents and mine were best of friends and we knew each other as very young children growing up on the same block in Brooklyn. Richard and his Dad did legal work for myself and my parents
