I'm so sorry to discover this obituary. I knew Rick at La Sierra college in 1981-82. He was such a sweet friend, and I've wondered through the years how his life turned out. I'm so glad to know he had a beautiful family and remained in the church. It's many years late, but I am sorry to all his family and friends for your loss. May we all meet again one day on that beautiful shore.

Precious memories how they linger!

We have so many precious memories.

One of my fondest memories is watching and listening to Rick play the string bass, one of my favorite instruments. I look forward to seeing and playing with him in the earth made new.

Recently, Laura posted a b&w drawing she had made some years ago of Rick on a family tree website (Geni) -- the drawing is currently Rick's profile picture there, too. I wrote to thank Laura, and she has asked me to share here the memory of Rick which I had shared with her. Although Rick and I are 1st cousins (his dad and my mom are siblings), I didn't get a lot of time to spend with him when I was very very small.
